I had lived my life in the world, and then surrendered my heart to Jesus. Before I became a Christian, I was only looking out for myself. Now Christ has given me a genuine love and concern for others. God's Law (the Ten Commandments) is perfect, it revealed my sin, and the gospel made me alive.
Since I gave my life to the Lord, I exist to glorify the God of this universe. One of the most exciting aspects of being a believer is telling other people about the Lord of your life. That includes wanting to see you come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Peter 3:9 says, "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance."
I believe that the Bible is the Word of God, and that Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh, crucified for the sin of the world, and that He rose again on the third day. I believe that salvation is by grace, through faith, and not of works.
